Tour Of Inglot, Kuala Lumpur

INGLOT was established 25 years ago by Wojtek Inglot himself, who is a chemist working in a pharmaceutical company. His principal objective was to product high quality products at a fair and reasonable price range, using the best possible ingredients from reputable suppliers. All Inglot cosmetics are produced within the European Union and 95% of them are manufactured in their own state of art production facilities.

Working with makeup artists and colour consultants, Inglot creates the latest trends in colour, texture and form to the market. They are constantly developing new products and they came up with the world’s first O2M Breathable Nail Enamel which ensures better health care for nails whilst enhancing their beauty. The O2M Breathable Nail Enamel are priced at around RM62 if I remember correctly.

Inglot is also renowned for their unique Freedom System which allows customers to experiment with countless shades and colour combinations of different products – face, eyes, brows and lips. We have the opportunity to create our own customized colour palette.

Inglot is currently available at over 240 retail locations worldwide and today, I would like to take you on a virtual tour around their newest, latest, Southeast Asia’s first outlet at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

Last month, Inglot opened their first Southeast Asia boutique at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, approximately 40 minutes (by car) away from the KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport). It’s situated on the Ground Floor, directly behind the information counter from the main entrance.

From the photos of other Inglot stores around the world and my first visit to Inglot Australia,  the stores are slightly different but bares the same clean, simple and organised manner. Large graphic prints on the wall and products on display add colours to the black and/or white acrylic stands. The design truly shows off the colourful products Inglot carries.

 From the entrance, on the right – there are false eyelashes at the corner, followed by a wide range of nail products. A little sofa for anyone who needs a rest and the counter area is filled with colourful paper bags, brushes and tools of the trade. 

On the other side of the store, there is another display showcasing a vast amount of lip products. From lip glosses, lip pencils, lipsticks to lip liners. 

At the center of the store, there are three islands. One for freedom system, one for all other eye products and one for all face products. At the freedom system island, one side is for eyeshadows and the other for face, cheeks, concealers, brows and lips. Each tray holds either colours from the same family or products of the same kind – which I think, makes it easier to shop.

 The island which consists of all other eye products includes pure pigments, body sparkles, eyeliners, gel liners, individual eyeshadows and mascaras etc. You can also find some eyeshadow brushes on display in the middle of the island. Large selection of eye products.

 Lastly, the island with face products. Huge range of shades, from liquid foundations to concealers and loose powders. Bronzers and blushers can be found on this island too, together with some face brushes and primers.

I spent approximately 3 hours during my first visit to Inglot and another 2 hours this time. Sad to say, I have not finished exploring or swatching all their products. If you are planning a visit, I suggest you set aside at least 3 hours to scout the massive range of products and colours they have. Unless of course, you already know what you want or specifically which section to target.

For me, I was all over the place. I couldn’t restrain myself because there is so much going on. Just like a little kid in a candy shop – really.
